The Three Chimneys
Location: On the shore of Loch Dunvegan in the remote north-west of Skye, this restaurant, run by Shirley and Eddie Spear for more than 23 years, has breathtaking sea views, fabulous food and five-star accommodation.

Food: Indulge in Mussel, fennel and saffron broth, Skye lobster grilled with coral butter, garden spinach and potato rosti, and vanilla veloute. Shirley's fruit bread pudding with plum compote and vanilla ice cream is to die for.
